This A&W is located in the basement of the Park Lane Mall. An aside, I always seem to lose data signal while inside the mall, but that's something not related to this review...
Anyway, this A&W was pretty quiet on a Saturday morning. It kinda gave me bad hopes, but I really haven't had A&W breakfast so long, so I decided to tough it out. I had the sausage and egger, with a bottle of milk.
I have to admit, I found the A&W sausage and egger tastier than the McDonald's sausage mcmuffin. The sausage patty felt more fresh, and the eggs were a lot more delicious here than at McDonald's. It's also hormone free and grown locally too, all great things that I like about A&W.
The price is a bit on the higher end for breakfast, but you get what you paid for I guess. I liked it for the most part, too bad the location isn't more accessible or noticeable. -

On the rare occasion that I indulge in fast food, I like to go to A&W because their products seem fresh and clean and don't weigh your belly down like some of the other chains. Also their beef is steroid and hormone free. This location is conveniently located on the bottom floor of the Park Lane Mall near the movie theatre and gym. One thing I wouldn't recommend is having a grandpa burger and onion rings before spin class at the Goodlife!

worst A&W i have ever been to by far the staff are lazy and rude and its ver obvious that they do not want to be there. they say they open at 930 every day. in reality they open around quarter to 10:00 cause they're all just sitting aroud inside making theyre own breakfast ignoring you standing just in front of the resteraunt waiting for them to open

I'm not a big fan of fast food restaurants to be honest. Mainly because when I go out to eat I want my food to be fresh and hot and I find that's pretty rare at a fast food joint.
I have NEVER had that problem at this particular A&W, located downstairs in the Park Lane Mall. It's close to where I work so sometimes it's a quick and easy option for my lunch break...and I actually don't dread it! Every single time I'm told it will be about 5-10 minutes for my order which might bother some people since it IS a fast food place but I'm okay with it. I like knowing my meal hasn't been sitting around waiting hours for me to come and eat it. My food has always arrived hot (usually I have to wait for it to cool a bit) and properly prepared.
This place is A-Okay in my books! -

My last visit here was only because I didn't have enough time before my movie's start time to get something good and nobody showed up at the little Asian place.
This place is dead and the two times I've visited, the person was working alone so had to work register and then make food. I'm always wary about that and the first time got very upset that the cashier went directly from the cash register to the food without stopping at the sink. I'm only slightly ashamed at my reaction which prompted a glove grabbing and bun replacement. The service is mediocre at best. It's a basic pay cheque for the employees and it shows.
Okay, last visit. I ordered a mozza burger combo and decided to try the sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. E wanted just a burger and drink and we accidentally got charged for the full combo so the lady gave him sweet potato fries instead too to make up for it. It didn't. They're not very good and over half got wasted. I do like the fact that they don't bother with ice, I have a tendency to forget to say no ice and I keep seeing those articles in my head talking about the nasties in ice machines when I take a sip.
It's a bit like visiting the fast food joint that was forgotten at some point. It doesn't try very hard and I'm sure passing by it on your way to the GoodLife gym isn't very difficult.
